my little girl has finally ate after 3 1/2 weeks... she didnt eat b/c she was shedding and also the bgining of respitory infections.
she had her 2nd shot of amakacin wendsday, and today she looked 100% better. i tried feeding her and i never seen her so excited to see a mouse runing around her cage...
1 thing i noticed is that she started hunting it then stoped and waited for the mouse to pass her, then she struck...
is this normal or should she be hunting the mouse?
Good to hear that. Mine usally follow the prey with their eyes, then keep very still and wait for the prey to move a certain direction before they strike. They ambush, rather than hunt in my experience.
