How long after feeding until you can hold your snake?

kweiss Feb 13, 2004 08:13 PM

One of my friends has had snakes for a long time and said that he never had a problem with regurgitation after holding his snakes when they have finished eating i was wondering how long i had to wait. THANKS

Just because it hasn't happened to your friend's snake doesn't mean it won't happen eventually if they keep handling it right after eating. To be safe, you should wait a day or two after he eats. Being patient and waiting is better than having a snake puke all over you.

I always wait at least 24 hours. I don't want any bp-regurge on me!
