Does anyone have experience of keeping more than one Stenodactylus petrii male in the same enclosure? The cage is 80*60 cm (31*23 inches).
Is it possible to do this, without the males fighting to death?

I wouldn't risk it.

Ive heard males have not been known to be very territorial. Stenodactylus are social creatures, and prefer the company of others; even if their males.
Try it, and see how it goes. It isnt a gurantee though>

Thats what i´ve heard too, just wanted to check with other keepers experience.

Many "burrowing geckos" such as ptenopus for example are colony breeders and wont even think about mating unless they hear calls of other males. Not that this means that they should be housed together but I heard that they must be housed in nearby tanks. How big is your tank? I would say dont try it in anything less than a 10, preferably a 15 or a 20.
Its big, about 70 gallons. The surface area is 5,2 sq. foot. So i don´t think it will be to small (given that it will work at all...).
The reason to why i´m asking is that i´ve recently bought 2 juveniles(unknown sex) that i´m hoping to be 2 females, since i´ve already got an adult male.
