Lately since he came out of his first brumation, Ocho has been displaying his beard quite a lot, for apparently no reason. For two years he would only display rarely, and now it's almost every day.
Two factors....
1. Like I said he brumated for the first time this winter. He's two and a half now, maybe he's just hit full-on sexual maturity?
2. His giardia flared up again. Maybe he just isn't feeling well?
I don't know. All I know is it makes me sad that he seems so unhappy all of the sudden. He's always been such a cheery guy!
