No disrespect intended here at all.............
I agree with others when they say that you using the "jungle" name is miss leading. Your didn't come from the original line......And, therefore it should not be named as such. I think another person hit it on the head when they spoke of an animal that was Motleyish......And, calling it a motley boa. It just isn't right. And, it is miss leading in my opinion.
Now, if you have taken a few breeding to "prove" that your animal is different than a normally colored boa.......By all means....Call it a "Cage" boa. (You get the idea) I'm not into making a TON of nice sounding names like the ball pythons seem to lean towards. But, if you can prove time and time again that your animals will produce something different...........Then, by all means, call it what it is.
I'm not here to tell you what you should "label" or "charge" for your animals. It is not EVEN my place. But, in my opinion......To sell an animal at a high price and call it a Jungle is miss leading. I know better..........Since I have been around for a while. But, what is to say a new person is thinking they are getting a GREAT DEAL on a Jungle..........Only to have it not "prove" out.
Again, I am not into making a ton of new names for a boa. But, I think it is good to keep certain lines separated. If it is genetic. And, proves to be so........Time and time again........Then, it should be labeled as such.
I know you keep on going back and forth with R & B. But, I really feel that they did go through this process the right way. They took the time to see if their animal was a genetic anomaly. I feel it is. I also think that it has proved itself as such.
Again, this is my humble opinion. You should do the same. I would never call an animal a "certain name" after one breeding. To me, that has not proved a thing.
Just my 2 cents on the topic.
Have a good one,
John
