The largest female I ever had was a little longer than 6'2" in length and weighed just over 9000g at one time (Thats about 19 lbs).....She had laid 18 eggs back in 1998....that was the only time she ever bred. She unfortunaetly died last year at around 12 years of age and was sent to Dave & Tracy Barker of VPI Pythons for examination......there have always been roumors about large balls so when she passed I sent her to them. I believe she is on Display or in a meauseum or something.

One of the rumors is of an 8' monster that Tom Crutchfield had in the late 90's. A friend saw it while attending a barbeque Tom threw in conjunction with the expo. He didn't measure it but said it was huge and could be mistaken for a burm but for the markings. Supposedly ate rabbits. I never heard anyone else mention that snake or what became of it.

I also heard of a line of very large but believable (6 ft) balls that stops feeding every time you move them to a new location. Not sure who is working with those.
