I thought it was 20 watt. Big apple herp has some 11" heat tape.

Yes they make 20 watt per foot. But I thought I have seen 40 watts per foot. Just can't remember where?
Thanks-

The Reptile Source used to carry it, but since informed me, when I tried to order some, that Flexwatt has discontinued the 40 watt tape. He was out of stock because of this so I had to go with the 20 watt. That was the only source that I am aware of.

Hello,

The mylar heat tape that we all use is manufactured by Calorique. They used to make it for Rold C. Hagen who labeled it as "Flexwatt." Since Hagen stopped carrying it, Calorique is the only large distributor for it. The largest size they have is 11" 20 watt/ft. I have never heard of a 40 watt/ft... MAN I bet that gets HOT!

You can order direct from Calorique but the minimum size sold is 100ft. They sell 100 & 500ft. rolls. For any other size you have to buy it from a re-seller.

Good luck...
