In a cage that size I would have a basking spot at 89-94 degrees F. Depending on what type of cage and how well it holds heat, make sure that the cool side temp remains at about 75 or so, this way the snake can regulate his own temps. I have had Drymarchon in melamine cages that really hold heat well so my basking spot would only be at about 82-84. In a Vision plastic type cage I keep my basking spot at 89-94 F and the cool side stays at about 75. I use ceramic heat emitters or radiant heat panels on one side of the cage only. A ceramic heat emitter of 150 watts should work fine.
