Gehyra vorax

Anyone keep these guys? I just got one today and I am sooo impressed, such soft skin and lovely temperament. Lemony pastely colour with beautiful greeny tealy eyes. Wow!!

Yes we currently keep and breed the Gehyra (several species) Although technically the gecko you purchased is not a vorax. They did not know what to call the giant Gehyra when it was first imported from Indonesia (Halmahera Island) The vorax comes from around the Loyalty Islands (see pic in the Rhacodactylus book) and is much different. There are several subspecies in the area that they come from but we consider yours to be marginata not vorax. The name has stuck and probably will stay thta way for awhile. All of that aside very cool gecko personable big eats banana right from your hand (well mine do) All around cool. If you have any questions that we can answer for you let us know.
