Yay! What a tough little dragon! She survived outdoors, on the balcony, three nights in a row, and the temps dropped to the low 40's! Where was she? As a wildlife biologist, I should have guessed - there are two very old, very large pots full of old sand for potting cacti, shoved in the corner next to all the shelves and other clutter. She had moved out onto the floor in the corner by the time I found her, but she was covered in sandy dirt, so she must have buried herself so well I couldn't see her at all, even when I poked around in the pots, and she finally emerged after it rained this AM, and the sun came out!. This must have helped her keep warm enought to do ok. where else would a lizard go? A big pot of sand!
Aside from finding her ice cold, she's fine - not a scratch, although I'm going to monitor her carefully. She just ate about 15 crickets and a nice salad.
Myabe I should rename her Houdini.
