why not, if there is enough room and I want them to breed, 175 gallons is enough room

The long term effects on the female will deleterious. I would not cage 2 jax together (except for brief mating attempts) in anything smaller than a large, walk-in, type cage with multiple trees. 175 gallons sounds large and it is for one cham. But it doesn't permit the female to escape. They'll live that way for a while but the longevity of the female would be significantly compromised and if she's gravid you can expect a dramatyically increased risk of reproduction-related problems.

how about this, Ill do the research, but what are good dimensions for ONE adult Jackson Chameleon

18"x18"x36" is adequate. Bob Sligh makes great cages. See www.cages.net. I like the ones with both a large top door and a smaller bottom door. It makes cleaning a 1,000 times easier.

You can also get some great ideas for setups at
