Question about breeding

All4Sky Feb 14, 2004 07:48 PM

I have a patternless female that just laid two eggs about a week ago. I was wondering, since I bought her gravid, is it possible to mate her with another male in my stock? If so, what would happen to the sperm she is carrying now from the previous owner's male? Thanks for your time.

Hi

I believe that if you were to put the new male in with her now and leave him in there with her, that she would have to go through at least three more egging periods before the old males sperm were out and the new guys were in.

Take Care, TLB
