I was a lil disappointed in the amount of beardies there. Mostly snakes, geckos, frogs, and turtles. Few chameleons there as well but not a whole lot. I did have something catch my eye. There was a beardie at the mid Michigan reptile adoption table that stole my heart. Shes a sweet lil 1.5 year old female named sissy. I saw her and knew I had to take her home!! I am in the middle of the adoption paper work and hopefully will new parent for this cute lil bearded. The show wasn't all that bad after all! Anyone else check the show out?? Deff a snake expo in my opinion. Some nice looking species though, just wasnt looking for any...

Mid-Michigan Herp Rescue is run be great folks, aren't they? I've adopted from them, too.

Thanks for the kind comments about us and our rescue work. We talked to some really nice folks at this last show and we took in some good looking applications. The Russian torts were a big hit as well as the little Beardie (which, BTW, came to us from CheriS). Now, anybody interested in an Iguana or three?

i totally wanted to go to my first show this saturday. but then i got a last minute phone call my best friend was getting married and i was being the best man. the insane part was his wife to be did a total suprise wedding. i mean 100%! he had no clue. walked in she was in her dress a priest right there... done!

so i guess i'll wait until next month.
