I am here to offer a bit of advice for feeding dragons new items, mainly veggies. I like most people had a big problem getting my dragon to eat veggies. Fortunatly, I have had luck with a little old school classical conditioning (remember Pavlov). By NO means am I saying that this is a fail-safe plan, but it has a 100% success rate for myself. I began with wearing bright blues disposible gloves when feeding my dragon (you must be in the habit of hand feeding your dragon). This went on everyday for about 2 months, now in order for positive reiforcement to take place, it HAS to be food he LIKES. After a suitable period has gone by (could be days to months) your dragon will identify the blue with food. In my case, I could have one glove on and the other hand bare and see a noticable reaction in my dragon to each of the hands when placed in the cage, even if I did it quickly and repeated the process over and over. Eventually after I was confident in the associations my dragon was making I began trying fruits and eventually veggies. Fortunatly for myself, this method has been very beneficial. Again, I am not saying this method garuntee's success, but it has yeilded great results in my case. I just figure that this is such a problem for most owners, so perhaps this can help.
Good Luck
