Flexwatt - Pros/Cons

eighteenmonther Feb 14, 2004 10:56 PM

What has been everyone's experiences who use Flexwatt? A good way to go for heating a BP rack, or heat tape is preferable, or?

Also, for a plastic box that's 39 inches long and 16 inches wide, what would be a good width to use for those dimensions to give a decent temperature variance? I thought I had heard it comes in different widths that you can cut to any length you want.

It depends on what your room temps are (relative to how wide you want it) 4 would be ok for room temps at about 75 degrees and up but I get 11. It's the best choice. It's CHEAP, thin, easy to work with, customizable, and easy to assemble. You could use also use heat rope.
