Sad news...

The deformed hatchling I'd spoken of a few weeks ago has died.
I really don't think it ever stood much of a chance: even at its most vigorous, it couldn't dig or burrow, eating was an exhausting challenge, etc., but its still very saddening.
We're going to miss the little guy.
