Forgot to say that the eggs are hard and dry so im guessing its too late. I was just on vacation for a week so havent checked the snakes for a few days. Came home to 20 eggs, wut a surprise. They are also stuck together, at least most of them. We put them all in a glass container with a heat pad under it with moist potting soil. Will this work for incubation if its not too late? PLEASE HELP and responde asap!

A few of those look fertile, if they aren't already too dried out.

I would suggest trying to get better incubating medium than potting soil (like vermiculite), but if even if you don't, bury the eggs deeper in the substrate (so only the very top of the egg is showing) and put a damp papertowel over the eggs. Hopefully some of the eggs will plump back out once they get more moisture.

I was just wondering if its bad to have the eggs all the way under the dirt.

I think the black corn mated with the orange one. I was just wondering if anyone knew what color of snakes i could get if some of the eggs hatched. Thanks for the help

It depends on if they are het for something.

If they aren't het for something, you will get all normal looking babies.

Yellow eggs sounds like they may be infertile, but just in case they aren't: Take a plastic container with a lid, fill it with damp -something- (people usually use damp vermaculite, perlite, or sphagnum moss for incubation), but in an emergency you can try a bunch of scrunched up damp paper towels (not soaking), and put the eggs in there. Keep it somewhere where the temps are between 75-85.

I didn't have any duds in my clutch, so hopefully someone better at identifying fertile eggs vs. slugs will come along.
