We have recently purchased another pac-man frog and he refuses to eat anything besides pinky mice. We place crickets and waxworms in his tank and he will kill them but not eat them. Any suggestions?

How does he kill them but not eat them? Doesn't make sense. Try other food items like nightcrawlers too. Pinky mice are about the worst diet out there.

I know that is a horrible diet, but what he does is bite the crickets and spit them out. The crickets are fine though I feed them to my other pac-man, fbt, and whites. I will try the night crawlers. thanks.

That is pretty strange...Have you tried super/mealworms yet?

I wasn't sure about feeding him superworms and have heard stories about the mealworms causing problems because they bite. I will try the night crawlers and superworms to see how he does. Thank you.
