hey i was wondering how many of u guys have vpi axanthics out there....because i dont normally see any for sale and when i do i see snake keeper's line.....so i was just curious how many of you guys have them out there and what ur opinions on axanthics...and if u can..if u have them can u post some pics...thanks for all tha replys...

I'm just getting into the VPI's. Of course, there is someone claiming for each line that "this is agreed to be the best" line. I'm not sure. I just have a few hets right now.

I think I can personally ask this question being neutral since I am working with three lines [VPI/SK/Jolliff]. Why do you say VPI is the best line?

Rick, I can't say that they are the best. I just got my first poss. hets from you a few weeks ago. What I meant is that I have seen various sites on each of the lines where someone claims that "VPI is the best", or "SK is the best", etc... I have no idea which is "best" as I have seen great looking animals from all three lines. Not that I have any of them yet...

If I did not have the dh snow I would not have sold them.
BTW the dh is half the size of your boys!

I haven't observed anything yet, but I have a good feeling. =) I'm still checking. I am getting a 100% female from Ralph Davis in a month or so, and if she's big enough I'll try to prove them out.

I have an axanthic male SK line and bred it to a het axanthic female.
I have a double het for snow male VPI axanthic.
I have 4 50% possible het snow Jolliff line. Hope to produce some soon.

I am planning to breed them to pieds/ghosts/spiders/and yes albinos.

is "pop" an axanthic? it looks just like one of my normals.
