Hi

That would be first laying ever. A female can usually carrie extra male sperm for up to a year, but it is always good to re-introduce the male every now and then for good measure.

There are some females out there that will lay fertile eggs there very first time ever, but not as offten.

Take Care, TLB

I think it really depends.
From three of my females this year so far
-the proven breeder female over 3 - first clutch both eggs fertile
-first year breeder-first clutch one egg fertile, and one infertile
-another first year- first clutch both eggs infertile
So it is possable for a first time breeder's clutch to be fertile.
