Taming Question

How can I tame a 6 month old bearded dragon. My friends bearded is really hard to handle. It always shows off its teeth when someone trys to pick him up. Any suggestions.

I would somewhat disagree. When I got my beardie he was about 8 months old and a crab. There is no way he would ea tfrom my hand, and i didn't wanna try, I got bit enough times anyways. What worked for me, just take him out and hold him for 10-20 mins. nothing special, just hold him. The progress may go somewhat slow but he should start fighting less, and flaring less. eventually one night he will fall asleep on you and you realize that you did something right.

I would somewhat disagree too.My beardie would constantly run when I handled em.I hand fed em for 2 weeks and now he doesn't run at all.But that would depend on your dragon and I also read it some other places.

I am having the same problem. My 5 month old refuses to let me pick him up from his cage. When I try and force him and he shows his teeth and swells up. If he doesn't get better I might get rid of him. Dragons are supposed to be the best about being handled and stuff, I sure haven't seen it yet. My geckos like being held and have never flared up.
