Glass doors...

roachey56 Feb 15, 2004 05:43 PM

how do you make a sliding glass door?
are there any other types of glass doors besides sliding and the traditional hinged kind?

Glass is actually pretty nice. I use it in all of my cages. you can find a glass shop that cuts it to size. 1/4" is a good width for sliding doors and its cheap, you can also get holes drilled for handles and get the edges smoothed down. Then get the tracs at a hardware store or cabinet shop. get the top tracts twice as deep as the top so that the doors can be lifted and removed for easy access. Glass does not warp or scratch easily and is easy to replace.
