Pyxie and Goliath frog questions

hoodoovoodoo54 Feb 15, 2004 05:44 PM

My roomate today at our local swap picked up two of what were sold to him as goliath frogs. They're just little guys, about the size of a quarter, and in our opinion kind of look like pyxie frogs. Does anyone have pictures that compare froglets of the two species. Any known differences between the coloration, pattern, shape, or anything of these two? Like i said they're just little guys and they look real neat, cooler than the pyxies i've seen, but at the same time, i've never seen froglets or even pictures of froglets of either species. just something we'd like to know. If pictures are necessary i'll post 'em but any info for the time being would be great. Just want to clarify and make sure we know what we've got.

I hope he had a couple of grand on him, because that is how much goliath frogs would cost. Scroll down and look for pictures of Eve's pyxie frog as that is what it will be. Not sure if they are adspersus or edulis, but I am QUITE certain that they are not Conraua.
