Hi everyone, A question

asert Feb 15, 2004 06:43 PM

Hi everyone. This is my first time on this forum.
I am thinking about getting a bearded dragon and i wanted to know if they can be smelly. I am going to keep a small one in a 3ft vivarium. Some one told me they poo alot and can be increasingly smelly. Is this true? THANKS.

if you want a bearded draagon then you need AT LEAST 4'X2'X2', if you need a 3 foot then you may want to buy a Rankins dragon.
They will become smelly if you don't clean the cage daily, if you do the only smell is the crickets.

The poop is the only thing that can get smelly, and if you keep their cage clean they don't smell at all. A lot of people here use rubber shelf-liner as a substrate, and it's very easy to spot clean and keep clean.
