with the introducing adults, or raising babies from the same clutch. You seemed to want someone to tell you an absolute answer, when there is no one answer. There will be answer for your situation if you try it, what it'll be no one can tell you.

I like to do some assessments when I make decisions. I ask myself a couple of questions.

1) What is the best possible result?
2) What is the worst possible result?
3) What is the likely result?
4) Does the likely result make the bad result an acceptable risk?
5) Am I prepared to have the bad result happen?

After answering these questions it should make it alot easier to decide what to do.

Of course with the scenario you brought up there is another question that comes to mind, why????? Personally I find it tough enough to keep monitors, and grouping of same species, that I can not see why I would ever make it a lot more complicated. But to each his/her own.

Sorry I'm not quite that pessismistic.

4) should be: Does the best result make the worst result an acceptable risk?

I have done things when the the likely result was not good, because I was hoping/gambling for something better.

Why do these kinds of questions get asked. Are you looking to be entertained? Do you just have to have that BT so bad but you don't have the space for one? Then don't buy one. These are two different species (two different families, teidae and varanidae, they don't cross bud). Never know though, perhaps they will get along fine and you will be the first one ever to cross tegus and monitors, hahaha.

I just wanted to know, do you think i would be that cruel to even find out, if so you are sadly mistaken sir. It was just a question of curiousity, hey you never know, there could be a chance for a tegu monitor mix.hahaha.

Then after that you can cross an iguana and a bearded dragon and make a million dollars .

That was definitely my next course of action. No, really, the reason y i ask is because i let my tegu free roam around my house and if i was to purchase a BT i wanted to know if it would have a horrible outcome.
