After I bleach the wood, how long should I sit and let it dry before I use it?

Also doesn't baking wood cause them to catch fire?

If you use bleach, I would rinse it very well and then soak it in some water. Let it dry in the sun, this will help dissipate any fumes. I prefer to bake the wood. If you bake it at 200-225 degrees for a couple of hours that won't burn the wood and after it cools it is ready to use.
