Finally a clear pic!!!

denean Feb 15, 2004 09:25 PM

OK, Here is a decent pic of the Uro I am trying to identify. She was sold to me as a Fimbriatus but she is lacking the red concen. circles in her eyes, leading me to think that she is not what I ordered(since I would never be so lucky to trip across a "white-eyed" Fimbriatus morph). I am hoping that one or more of the Uro-breeders here could drop me an e-mail to back me up. The place bought her from will allow a return if I can get someone to identify the ssp. Thanks in advance for the help- Denean

That looks very much like a Uroplatus henkeli to me.

She seems to be a Henkeli. I only say unfortunately because she was supposed to be a Fimbriatus and now I like her too much to giver her back (which is fine since they will only give me credit and therre's no telling when they will get a Fimbriatus in again).
