Feeding question?

frikidiki Feb 16, 2004 02:28 AM

I know this question must have been asked about a million times in this forum but what the heck How often should I feed a bosc who is around a year and a half old? I feed it a variaty of foods from mice, chicks, hardboild eggs, duck embryo and ground chicken. How often should I feed them this and is it ok to give this variety throuout the week to keep him heathy and for growth? When do I know if I'm over feeding him?

Another question is how can I cure/avoid claw loss? it gets caught in the cage. Thanks in advance.

Feeding schedules will vary depending on the temps. cage size, animal, etc.. A good thing is to just watch your monitor and see how they look. My young monitors get fed daily or as needed, my adults simply get fed as needed rather then a set schedule.

the only way to avoid claw loss is to remove whatever is removing them.
