Calcium ? Too much?

shion Feb 16, 2004 02:30 AM

Can you overload a sulcata on Calcium? If so what would be the results? I want to make sure he is getting it but can it also be harmful?

What about the mulitvitamins on the same question?

It's very difficult to over-load on calcium. If the tortoise is housed outside go w/ calcium w/out d3. If its housed inside use ca w/ d3. As for a multi vitamine use one w/ beta carotine instead of vitamin A. Supplementing a multi once or twice a week should be perfectly safe. I use rep-cal products.
