Please post some unusual wild caught photos

This summer I caught the strangest looking eastern garter snake. White head, with blues, pinkish red, orange etc just kinda melded together with no real pattern. Looking closely the four stripes were visible if you really looked for them, but they were still next to non existant. It was about 2 feet long and gravid when I caught it. I kept it only for the day so I could get some photos. Ive looked through the forums but I havent seen anything that resembles this one. Wondering if anyone has found anything similiar to this one.

well...care to post any of those pictures ??? Sounds rather incredible...you should of kept baby's...maybe a hybrid ?!Are you SURE it was a garter ?

I am pretty certain it was a garter. I did see a faint hint of the dorsal stripes. It was not smooth scaled which helped narrow it down. The eyes were fairly large in proportion to the head, which also led me to believe it was in fact a garter. Im from NE pa by the way, and trust me theres nothing native to confuse with this thing

Found this guy earlier last year. Took a bunch of pics, let him go, and about a month later found him again. Took him home for a couple meals and let him back go.

Found this one last year. I'll be looking for its offspring, and maybe keep one or two if I find some.
