Crested Partial shedding problem

birdhead1982 Feb 16, 2004 11:22 AM

Hi, Slight problem with one of my Crested Geckos, hes about 4 months old and has shed a few times with no problems. This time however there seems to be some dead skin left on a few of his toes. I have been upping the humidity to try and have it come off, he has plenty to rub on too. Any body know how long i should give it? Is there anything bad that could come from this?

Give him a few days to get it off himself. If it is still there in 3 or so days take it off yourself. Make sure to keep his tank moist enough. If the dead skin dries and shrinks it will cut off circulation and he could lose some toes. This will only happen if the skin is around the whole toe.
