Hi,, I have two ADF....

boogies_mom Feb 16, 2004 11:49 AM

I have two ADF... named Paris and Nicole... they live with 4 ghost shrimp and two white clouds in a 10 gallon aquarium.
There were more white clouds but one died due to one nipping and I have taken that one out.
How much do you feed your frogs and when?
What do you feed your frogs?

Mine get thawed frozen blood worms that I syringe into their faces,, and I put hbh frog bites on a flat rock for them to find while I'm sleeping.

My frogs arn't very old, I have not had them long and they are still very small, how often should I feed them do you think and how much?

Thankyou for your help

i feed them every 2-3 days, generally i give them frozen foods like blood worms or brine shrimp but they will take flakes and things to

i dont leave them to find the food tho i hand feed them, i take a pinch of food between my fingers and wiggle it about right infront of them and they take it from my fingers
i had a couple of shier ones that took a few attempts to get hand feeding but the adapt to it very quickly and u can judge how much there getting easier

as for judging how much they need i keep an eye on their left hand side u will see them bulge when well fed, i feed til i see a slight bulge in each frog, they dont take much, maybe a few blood worms each for example

hope that helps
