My daughter has had a frog eyed Gecko since November, along with a Leopard Gecko. We recently separated them, but I was wondering about the setup. I have approx. 6-8" of sand, top layered with calci sand. We have a pvc pipe going down to the bottom so the water hits the bottom (read that somewhere). Anyway, have under tank heater on one side, but not sure if that is warm enough. I feel the heat on the side of the tank. And you know, thermostats do not tell an accurate reading with uth's. Also, since November, my daughter has put a towel over the tank to keep the drafts out if any, and to keep the tank semi warm. Is this enough air circulation for the Gecko to breathe? She seems fine, very active, likes to wave her tail at you!
