High Traffic Area bad for monitor?

aps929 Feb 16, 2004 07:03 PM

Hey everyone,
I'm getting my new BT at the end of this month and the only space I can keep his cage is in the front hall of my apartment where my roommates and guests will constantly be walking past? Is this going to be bad for him? Should I construct some type of curtain to put around his cage to make him feel a little more secure?
I'd appreciate your opinions. Thanks in advance.

It could be, especialy when you first aquire him. I would definately have the curtain ready to go, it'll probably settle in much quicker. But you will have to be the judge, watch the body language of the lizard. I would also be concerned with cold drafts from the door, at least if your a northerner like myself.
Have fun, Clint.

Northern West Virginia is pretty cold this time of year. It will be kind of a bad spot as far as drafts go.

I think you should figure something else out, between the drafts and the traffic neither are good.
