Yes Boulder is an Egyptian Uro. Nebu is as well but he's a little guy right now. I have had Boulder for 6 months now. I bought him to take care of some burns on his back he had acquired in his previous home. He is the best lizard I could ever imagine. Super friendly, yet still active and inquisitive. He comes with me outside and runs around the yard, eating clovers and dandelions off the ground. He will chase the cat and sleep in my bed. He is almost 4 pounds now and about 21 inches long. He eats a whole "bunch" of greens every day. He is in a custom 5' by 3' glass cage I built on sand substrate.

Just a side question here.. You said he eats clovers? Like 3-leaf clovers? Do they like them a lot? I have tons and tons of them here!

They seem to love clovers, but apparently only the white version. The ones with the little faint white marking in the middle and the white flowers. They smell very sweet when I pick them so I imagine they are tasty.

i just wanted to say that i think your egyptians, and your pictures of them, are just fantastic. i like to see someone who shows pictures of an affectionate uro, most of the posts on here are all about hissing and tail whipping. while neither of our malis are quite ready to snuggle down under the covers with us, they do occasionally doze off on our chests while watching tv, they are little angels. thanks for those pictures, and good luck with the little guy.
