I just got 3 fbt's and the first day it took some time for them to adjust, i didn't notice them eat, but today it is a territory match over the tubliflex worms. is a solution more feeding dishes or what? please help quick, i'd hate to have one of the guys get hurt.

Hi,
What are they doing? How are they fighting? I have 14 FBT, 6 of those are over 10 years old. I have never seen any of them fight. I do know that when the food is in there, they will grab onto anything that moves, including my finger. I read once were it said that they don't have good eye sight and will go after things that move thinking it is food. I have even seen them get a leg of another in their mouths, and they will move around with the other toad's leg in it's mouth until the other kicks away because they can't just spit it out once they realize that it is not food.
Anyway, maybe they aren't fighting, just excited about the food.

well the one tries to jump onto the others back, wrap his arms around the other from behind, and tried to throw him from the dish into the water. It has happened everytime one goes to the dish and is confronted almost instantly. thanks

It wouldn't hurt to put another dish of food in. If they are in different areas of the tank you could put one down in front of the one that wants to hog the food and another dish for the other two. That should stop any fighting.
I only feed crickets, so they pretty much scatter out where everyone gets their own but I could see where the one dish would cause a fuss.

Well it sounds to me that you have to small of a tank. If it is not that then i would seperate them because some of them might be males and their might be a female they are competing for. For right now if you dont have enough money feed them in a diffrent place.
