I know this is the Venomous Forum but i hope you guys can help me, my boa constrictor climbed in a hole in a log in her tank, i forgot to plug the hole. She has been in the log for 2 days now i can't get her out, i've tried lureing her out with food but she wouldn't come out. She keeps turning around inside so i don't think she is stuck. I was just wondering if any of you know of a way to get her out, i guess i might have to cut the log but i don't want to hurt her.

Please help,

Thank you.

Maybe... put the log on the cold side of the tank and put an equally attractive hide on the warm side? That, or just wait, the snake can take care of itself and knows it has to come out to eat and drink eventually.

"The serpent crams itself with animal life that is often warm and vibrant, to prolong an existence in which we detect no joy and no emotion. It reveals the depth to which evolution can sink when it takes the downward path and strips animals to the irreducible minimum able to perpetuate a predatory life in its naked horror."
