Mealworms..

Can someone please explain to me how to breed mealworms. (If that's what you want to call it) I remember reading it here a while ago, but I cannot find that particular post. Thanks a bunch!!

Very simple. For bedding I use wheat bran or wheat germ.
A few slices of potatoes, some various veggies (leftovers from my Sugar Gliders), toss in the mealworms, and your set!

There are many ideas of what to feed them, but they'll eat just about anything, as long as they are given plenty of moisture (hence the potatoes) they'll do just fine.

Also...leave the potatoe slices in there, unless you see mold growing. The beetles will lay their eggs on these, so you dont want to toss out too many.

yes, mealworms will go dormant in the fridge.
