i have a pair of x-mas '03 babies. my female eats like a pig but my male hasnt eaten in over 2 weeks. they both heve eaten 3 meals from me with no problem but i noticed that they were starting their shed mode about 11 days ago so i fed both of them as soon as i saw the cloudy eyes. she ate but he didnt. they were still shedding today. I offered him food 6 days ago and he didnt eat so today i used some shed-aid on him to help him out hoping that he would eat but he didnt. he is still in his feeding container w/ the f/t mouse and i plan to leave him in there w/ the food overnight hoping that he will get the idea to eat. since i live in new york and it is cold up here so i regulate the temp to roughly 84 on the cool side and 90 on the warmer side and mist them constantly. i dont know why he wont eat and i am worried. any suggestions?

ahh dude your worrying to much , i have one about six months old
that will not eat the feeder unless i dangle it in front of her face , i could leave the damn thing in there for a week and the animal will just look at it, as soon as i dangle the feeder BAM!!

DONT , mess with the animal when it's shedding, leave it alone , it takes alot out of the snake to shed - and most of the time my boas will not touch a feeder when in shed --- let the shedding process complete , leave the snake alone for a day or two - and then try again ,
it will be alright, patience and preserverance
