my mother in law has a 8 ft colombian that hasnt been handled or tank cleaned in about 14 months so i went over to do the the task of thouroughly cleaning the tank and snake. he was a little dirty, but seemed pretty healthy, so i washed him up a little. while handling him though i noticed that where his cloaca is, that area was kinda caved in a little. i know that they he supposed to have a contour in this section where the male protrudes more than the female but i was wondering if, since i was told that it was a male, this should be or if maybe this is a sign of a collapsed hemipenes-any suggestions?
