Desert animal....Most desert animals get the majority of their water from the food they eat. For this reason be sure to rinse veggies before cutting. Remove when they get dried out. Replace w/fresh. My guys do not have a water bowl that can spill but they do get fresh veggies in the late morning and early evening. They also sometime drink during their daily bath. I work from home and my schedule allows for this.

They will drink from a bowl if they are thirsty so do what you can to make them happy. The Beardie is an opportunist. Like a dog when you leave a steak on the kitchen counter. So have fun.

They drink maybe once every 3 days or so from a dropper. If you can get them to do this it will help someday if you have to administer medicine. Just put a drop of water on the snout and your beardie should lap it up. Keep dropping until the beardie doesn't want anymore. I offer water whenever I see their behavior show they are thirsty or if it seems like it's been awhile or if their skin shows they are thirsty. Usually I offer water too often and they won't take it but I figure better safe than sorry!

Also, rinsing your veggies off is important to remove any pesticides that are on them, not just for dehydration so if you decide to water with a dropper don't stop rinsing the veggies! Wanted to make sure you understood that.
