You want to buy a Brown Snake? I don't know where you live but they are extremely common in alot of places. I'll sell you one, contact me in the spring. Not a good snake, easy to take care of, but boring and dull.

Nice corn snake, I only dislike Brown snakes because to me they are nothing. I've caught them my whole life since I was six and the only purpose I could find for them was snake food. They are easy to take care of in captivity but are dull.

P.S.-Don't get offended, you aren't a Brown Snake

Wow, you're a little sinicle towards such a friendly snake. Anyways, when ever i've kept browns i've had trouble getting them to eat anything but slugs, is this not the case for other people. I suppose if winter was a little warmer that wouldn't be a problem but I have trouble finding slugs under the snow.

Brumate them, then they won't be eating over the winter.

Hi there:

I've never seen a brown snake for sale- even at a show. That's because obtaining one is as simple as locating your nearest vacant lot. Where do you live? You'll probably end up getting a perfectly nice one for free. I don't like to see 4-dollar specimens (god knows what they've been through) getting sold online. If you do find one for sale, odds are its wild-caught anyway, so why not try to breed a little colony of your own? Brown snakes make great captives; this was the very first species of snake I ever kept.
