Not eating...

lostkauze Feb 17, 2004 02:59 PM

last sunday (Feb. 1), i got a breeder female. She hasn't eaten yet. She refuses wax worms, pinkys, meal worms, and crickets. I managed to feed her 3 small crickets that i had to disable so they couldn't jump, but she didnt go after them, she kinda just reached over without trying and almost accidentally got it. I am getting a bit worried. She is fat, and has a fat tail, but her skin is loose, and its evident she's lost some weight. Suggestions?

I'd recommend...

A.) Leave her alone for a while and let her get used to her new environment. I.e., do not handle her, just drop a few crickets in her tank and leave her alone.

or

B.) Take a fecal to a vet.
