This is my new favorite picture, well besides my albino ringneck picture. Now I want one of these even more.

holy cow!!!!! thats kinda mest up I breed rosy boas
They will eat anything. Rosies aren't much different than a gopher snake or pyro, both of which I have seen pictures of them eating. Regals get to be nice sized and having evolved in an area where reptile prey is the most plentiful and easiest prey to find, they have adapted. Not only has their apparent preference been altered, but I am sure their venom is quite potent compared to the easter subspecies.

I would have the same thing if it was DOR which it was
Hello:
Don't take this the wrong way. I think ringneck snakes are beautiful snakes- I love all snakes just the same, but that is what seems to be the problem. It's pretty odd that you'd feed your ringneck a rosy boa. Rosys cost about $114.95 each, or $70.00 at the least. A rigneck is happy enough on a diet of invertebrates, and there is no need to give it a rosy boa as a tret. Try fish instead. I know that feeding is a part of nature. It is fascinating, but cool is not the way to describe it. A beautiful animal lost its life, and judging from what what I saw in the picture, it was prekilled. It bothers me, but don't let it bother you. It happens in the wild too. The ringneck is beautiful. Good luck with it.

Hey,
I never saw your reply to the pic until today, the rosy boa was prekilled, but not by me, or the regal ringneck. That snake was DOR(dead on road). There was use in wasting a meal, so it became food for the regal.
