About 3 or 4 years ago when I was in middle school I was BIG into reptiles. It was middle school and since I was young I'd always loved scaly critters had iguanas when i was fairly young and i'm sure you know how that went (dead). Then in middle school I kept veileds, leopard geckos, other geckos, and an ackie monitor. All these i kept well for a while..Never really had any success breeding them but high school came around and I never had the time to take care of my nearly 20 herps that filled my room. My whole middle school life i spent on the computer and on the Kingsnake.com website in forums and other pages, reasearching and learing about these fascinating creatures. Now my junior year in high school is nearing completion and I find myself again turning to reptiles. I visted this website for the first time in about 2 years last month and glad to say that not much has changed. I looked through the pages, refreshing my memory with over husbandry, taxonomoy, and other things over the species I used to be interested in. I'm still most fascinated with chameleons, as they were my first love. I plan to purchase a 1.2 trio of veileds next month with some birthday money. I'll probably buy a subadult trio and try my hand at breeding. Chameleons are one of the most rewarding herps to work with, they just throw things at you that keep you coming back like I have in this case. I'm sure I'll be hanging around the forums for some time to come, so I'd be happy to help anyone out who is knew to these awesome little dinosaurs, just let me know.
