Colombian Boa Pics...

Darren Hamill Jun 09, 2003 08:32 AM

This is my largest female Colombian that’s currently about to explode! She’s just huge at about 3 ½ months into her gestation. She’s been sitting at about 90 F since the beginning and is doing just fine.

Some female boas will shed through their gestation… This female shed half way through last time she was bred and is about to shed in this pic as well.. Boas that shed during their gestation can make timing birth difficult for some. As long as you record their ovulation correctly the 105 day marker is still the same.
