I have heard that at a certain point its ok to feed mostly greens to your dragon. Is this true? If so, i have a 1 yr old is it too early to start? Id like to cut the cricket dosage if possible, he eats greens and such i was wondering the best way to go about changing this diet as well as some healthy foods to substitute

Should be 75% greens and 25% crickets etc... daily.

You can start to cut down on the crickets, but he will still need a source of protein from somewhere. I would suggest Rep cal pellets, the T rex super foods or switching to silk worms (Or other worm) every few days. He is old enough to start this switch now, but make sure you make the switch gradual.

good point about the gradual change.
silkies are great, stay away from meal worms and only offer super worms as a treat Roaches are good too and easy to digest

at one year old you should be feeding mostly greens. Their appetite for crix usually goes way down by itself. You can also offer adult pellets or dust your salad with t-rex suppliments to make sure you have a ballanced diet. I give my BDs about 5 crix each every couple of days. It is my understanding that they are healthier and live longer with fewer crix. Technically with the pellets and dust you can eliminate the crix all together.
