Hello everyone! This is my first post to this forum and I have a few questions about putting together a vivarium.
I have read most of the posts in the Rhac forum and came across one that had a site that had a recomended mix for plant food, but I neglected to save it and can't seem to find it again. If someone has the site, or a recomended mix, I would greatly appreciate it.
Next, I have some ideas for a waterfall and was wondering if lace rock would be ok to use. I know that lace rock has a buffering quality and can raise the ph of the water into the 8.0 and higher range. Would this be harmful to crested geckos?
Last but not least, I was wondering if anyone has any recomendations on small types of tropical trees or larger tropical plants for the vivarium. I would like to find something that i could get to grow to about 20" and stay at that height(either with trimming or naturally).
