Painted Stuff

What should I do for a painted turtle during the winter? Bring him inside into my 65 gallon tank? Or put him in a rubbermaid bin so he can hibernate? Help me out!

I would not hibernate him. I would just keep him in the 65gal or jsut keep him in a large rubbermaid during the colder months.

Hibernation shouldn't be attempted if you have no experience with it or don't have assistance with it. Even though hibernation and brumation is generally healthier for reptiles, they do just fine without it. Depending on how many painteds you have I stick with the 65 gallon.
