I am getting a boa and it is a little different from others I have seen. I have had corn snakes, king snakes, ball pythons, but this will be my first boa. It has chocolate color saddles, no black except a little on the tail I think...? Is it a normal boa or is that a certain color phase? Thanks alot for all your help

Without a picture, it's hard to definitively say but I would hazzard a guess that it's a normal. Of my 8 Bci, all of them are slightly different in color with some are darker than others. A couple of them have the chocolate brown saddles versus the more typical dark brown or black saddles.
